Description

  • Coordinate and facilitate people processes throughout the employment life cycle.
  • Support HR department functions and partner with regional vice presidents and other business leaders.
  • Lead strategies and operational support aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive process improvements.
  • Use HR and business metrics to identify trends, solve problems, and influence change.
  • Investigate employee complaints and recommend follow-up actions to leaders.
  • Advise regional leadership on organizational development, talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and change management.
  • Serve as a liaison across recruitment, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and employee relations.
  • Facilitate HR and talent management processes such as succession planning, compensation planning, performance management, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Support companywide initiatives as a divisional HR representative and contribute HR perspective on people impact and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Ability to understand organizational issues, build relationships, and influence change.
  • Experience working in a changing, fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to assess risk for potential terminations.
  • Ability to keep leaders informed and compliant with organizational initiatives including performance reviews, merit, engagement, compliance, flu, and COVID-19 matters.
  • Maintains regulatory knowledge and expertise.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment independently within scope.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professionalism and tact.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to address issues proactively and constructively with management and team members.
  • Competency handling difficult and sensitive conversations.
  • Ability to report, analyze, and summarize data for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience using HRIS systems.
  • Experience across multiple HR functional areas preferred, such as talent development, acquisition, compensation, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • PHR or SPHR certification, or completion of a relevant certificate program, preferred.
  • Excellent technical skills, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 10% of the time.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
