Description

  • Co-lead a pod of up to 10 clinicians alongside a Registered Dietitian Lead.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to reporting clinicians on clinical quality and professional growth.
  • Support clinicians with patient care concerns, workplace issues, and problem-solving as needed.
  • Conduct regular individual meetings, chart reviews, and annual in-depth feedback sessions as part of quality assurance.
  • Monitor signs of burnout and help implement strategies to reduce clinician strain.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new medical clinicians.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify issues, gather feedback, and implement process improvements, policies, and procedures.
  • Support daily operations for clinical administrative personnel, including PCCs, Practice Managers, Enrollment Specialists, and Care Advisors.
  • Work with the Regional Medical Director to improve clinical efficiency and advance company goals, mission, and values.
  • Promote a positive team culture that values and elevates individual contributions.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or certification by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM), or at least 3 years of extensive clinical experience in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington and Colorado.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience as an attending physician in a primary specialty or endocrinology.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience supervising APPs in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong interest in mentoring, teaching, and collaborating with APPs and Registered Dietitians.
  • Demonstrated comfort managing patients with complex co-morbidities.
  • Commitment to evidence-based treatments, behavioral interventions, nutrition, and pharmacotherapy for endocrine disorders and obesity.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment.
  • Passion for delivering an excellent patient experience and fostering a strong work environment.
