Description

  • Own and evolve end-to-end architecture across web, mobile, backend, and data platforms.
  • Design scalable, fault-tolerant systems supporting millions of users and sensitive healthcare data.
  • Build React and TypeScript web applications and establish frontend architecture standards.
  • Influence mobile application architecture, APIs, caching, offline support, analytics, and release workflows.
  • Design high-performance REST and event-driven APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS services.
  • Lead data modeling, migrations, reliability improvements, and privacy-first system design.
  • Drive Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and incident-response practices.
  • Lead cross-team technical initiatives and communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor engineers and promote shared standards, libraries, platform capabilities, and engineering excellence.
  • Champion responsible AI-assisted engineering practices and identify AI/ML opportunities in product systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including ownership of full-stack production systems.
  • Experience leading complex initiatives across frontend, backend, and/or mobile domains.
  • Strong hands-on TypeScript experience across frontend and backend systems.
  • Deep experience with React and modern web application development.
  • Experience with native iOS/Android applications and/or React Native.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong AWS experience, including Lambda, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, EC2, IAM, and networking.
  • Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, QA automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Preferred: healthcare or other regulated-industry experience, HIPAA/PHI security, Retool, Redshift, globally distributed teams, or shared UI component libraries.
