Description

  • Join a product squad and collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and AI.
  • Own backend systems and contribute across the full stack, including APIs, data models, infrastructure, and user experience.
  • Turn product ideas into high-quality shipped features through collaboration with product, design, and engineering.
  • Use AI-enabled workflows to prototype, bridge gaps across stacks, and ship well-structured changes.
  • Understand user problems, shape product decisions, and validate ideas through rapid prototyping and experimentation.
  • Carry features through rollout and observe their impact on users.
  • Work directly from user feedback, PM conversations, Customer Success input, and feature instrumentation to inform decisions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Kotlin or Java and a web framework such as Micronaut or Spring.
  • Experience working on SaaS products, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • Backend is your primary stack, with willingness to contribute to web or mobile when needed.
  • Comfort using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot, or strong eagerness to adopt them.
  • Strong engineering judgment, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new ways of working.
  • Experience pairing with designers or working directly from mockups or prototypes (nice to have).
  • Experience with instrumentation and experimentation, including A/B testing, Grafana, or Mixpanel (nice to have).
  • Experience deploying with Kubernetes and Helm (nice to have).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL (nice to have).
  • Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka (nice to have).
