Description

  • Build the BDR function from scratch, including the team, playbook, and operating systems.
  • Define the BDR profile, create the interview process, hire reps, and ramp the team.
  • Develop and iterate a qualification model, outbound motion, and AE handoff process.
  • Design an AI-native, instrumented prospecting motion across inbound and outbound channels.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Strategy to turn developer-led demand into enterprise pipeline.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product as the role owner.
  • Recruit exceptional BDR talent and coach them to improve continuously.
  • Translate market signals into updated processes as the motion evolves.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in GTM roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing SDR/BDR teams.
  • People management experience with direct responsibility for hiring, ramping, and coaching reps.
  • A track record of generating and scaling pipeline.
  • Experience building a function, playbook, or team from scratch.
  • Deep curiosity about AI/ML, inference, and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to scale personal work.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience at an AI/ML, infrastructure, developer-tools, or API-first company, ideally through hypergrowth (preferred).
  • Experience scaling a BDR team through a Series B-to-C-and-beyond inflection (preferred).
  • Hands-on fluency with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Apollo, plus AI-native prospecting tools (preferred).
