Description

  • Own expansion revenue for a portfolio of existing customers and identify latent growth opportunities within the book of business.
  • Partner with Customer Success to focus on pitching, negotiating, and closing upsell and cross-sell deals.
  • Develop long-term, multi-product expansion roadmaps for strategic accounts.
  • Conduct executive-level discovery to uncover customer business initiatives and expansion potential.
  • Translate complex customer challenges into compelling expansion opportunities.
  • Design and deliver polished executive presentations and demos to senior decision-makers.
  • Manage cross-functional communication with senior-level internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze pipeline trends to identify risks and opportunities across the book of business.
  • Navigate complex customer dynamics and develop custom solutions for strategic accounts.
  • Partner with customer success, product, and marketing to execute seamless expansion initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall sales experience.
  • 3+ years of experience selling into an existing customer base in a B2B SaaS account management or account executive role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in high-value strategic sales.
  • Deep domain knowledge with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to customer finance leaders.
  • Ability to discuss finance and accounting solutions in the context of industry trends and competitors.
  • Experience leveraging marketing and partnerships for creative self-sourcing.
  • Strong self-management skills and the ability to autonomously handle strategic accounts.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and adapt expansion plans as priorities shift.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle from opportunity identification through deal closure.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • Base salary of $88,000 to $105,000 per year, plus commissions.
