Description

  • Execute the renewals process for an assigned portfolio of subscription customers.
  • Manage customer communications, pricing discussions, and objections to support on-time renewals.
  • Partner with Customer Success to review account health and usage data before contract end dates.
  • Initiate proactive customer outreach at 90, 60, and 30 days before contract expiration.
  • Conduct renewal and contract change discussions within defined negotiation parameters and escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding renewals, contract amendments, expansions, and contractions.
  • Generate, review, and send renewal quotes and support procurement processing through PO issuance.
  • Track contract cancellations and document reasons for loss.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Legal, and Finance to improve renewal, expansion, and cross-sell processes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, including customer interactions and renewal opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience in customer renewals or account management in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
  • Proven track record of achieving quota and KPI targets.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify solutions and make sound decisions with general supervision.
  • Ability to interpret customer health signals, engagement data, and renewal performance metrics.
  • Strong process management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret subscription agreements, contract amendments, and order forms.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, with HubSpot or comparable tools preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred.
