Description

  • Lead a small team owning and innovating on major new and existing product features.
  • Build and maintain reusable front-end components and manage component state and reactivity in production applications.
  • Work across existing AngularJS and React codebases to read, maintain, debug, and extend functionality.
  • Integrate with REST or GraphQL APIs and handle asynchronous state, errors, and edge cases gracefully.
  • Coordinate feature releases with team management and quality assurance personnel.
  • Write and maintain tests alongside feature development.
  • Collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and other team members.
  • Support UI/UX quality, accessibility, and frontend performance in the products you build.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience building production web applications.
  • Hands-on production experience with Svelte or SvelteKit.
  • Working proficiency in AngularJS and React for maintenance and extension of existing codebases.
  • Strong fundamentals in modern JavaScript (ES2020+) and comfort with TypeScript or willingness to ramp up quickly.
  • Solid HTML, CSS, and responsive design skills, including Flexbox, Grid, and CSS preprocessors or utility frameworks.
  • Experience consuming and integrating REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with frontend testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Git and modern development workflows, including code review, CI/CD, branching, and Agile/Kanban delivery.
  • Demonstrated attention to UI/UX quality, accessibility basics (WCAG), and frontend performance.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently within the United States.
  • B.S. in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Nice to have: C#/.NET experience or familiarity with integrating against a .NET backend.
  • Nice to have: backend development experience with APIs, services, or database-backed business logic.
  • Nice to have: experience with component libraries, design systems, or shared UI infrastructure.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with state management patterns at scale such as Svelte stores, Redux, Zustand, React Query, or Context patterns.
  • Nice to have: exposure to AWS and deployment tooling such as Octopus, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with the legal tech domain or other workflow-heavy SaaS products.
  • Nice to have: interest in AI-assisted UX patterns and integrating LLM-powered features into the frontend.
