Description

  • Lead strategic security programs from planning through execution across security and business teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify security risks and turn priorities into practical action plans.
  • Define and track security program metrics, OKRs, risk registers, and leadership reporting.
  • Coordinate remediation of security gaps with control owners, specialists, and business partners.
  • Design and implement scalable security policies, processes, operating models, and change management plans.
  • Drive company-wide security awareness, training, communications, and educational initiatives.
  • Support security leadership with strategic planning, portfolio management, briefings, and follow-through on commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security program management, security business partnership, or a related strategic information security role.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional security programs from planning through execution.
  • Experience building program metrics, OKRs, risk registers, or dashboards for leadership visibility.
  • Working knowledge of information security frameworks and practices such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to communicate security risks, priorities, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Experience developing or delivering security initiatives that support organizational adoption, such as awareness, training, remediation, or change management.
  • Preferred experience supporting security or technical leadership in a chief of staff, business operations, or portfolio management role.
  • Preferred knowledge of enterprise or quantitative risk management practices, including FAIR.
  • Preferred experience with public company security/compliance requirements such as SOX ITGC, or global regulations such as GDPR or NIS2.
  • Preferred experience using AI, automation, or security tooling to improve reporting, workflows, or decision-making.
  • Preferred security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
