Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests through ticketing system, email, phone, and in person.
  • Triage and resolve Level 1 issues involving hardware, software, networking, and account access.
  • Provision user accounts, reset passwords, and manage access in Okta, Entra, and Google Workspace.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding by setting up laptops, creating accounts, and collecting equipment.
  • Assist with integrating SaaS platforms into Okta and Entra and troubleshoot existing SaaS tools.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity issues and escalate complex cases.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of networking, security, and facility access equipment at site locations.
  • Maintain hardware inventory tracking, including assignment, provisioning, and surplus management.
  • Create and update IT run-books, knowledge base articles, and issue documentation.
  • Support security policies, monitor SIEM dashboards, escalate alerts, and contribute to SOC 2 compliance efforts.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical trade school background.
  • 2-7 years of experience in an IT help desk or support role.
  • Basic understanding of IAM concepts, including user provisioning and SSO.
  • Familiarity with SaaS administration such as Google Workspace, Entra, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a patient, helpful demeanor.
  • Ability to document issues clearly and contribute to knowledge base content.
  • Solid understanding of or willingness to learn SOC 2 compliance practices.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Okta or Entra administration is a plus.
  • Experience with MDM solutions such as Kandji, Iru, or Jamf is a plus.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace, Entra, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, or Office 365 in a large company is a plus.
