Description

  • Provide direct customer service support to dealers and consumers via phone, e-mail, fax, and mail.
  • Respond to inquiries about product specifications, performance, application, pricing, availability, and brand history.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot product performance issues and coordinate resolutions for defective or damaged products.
  • Process consumer returns, place parts and replacement orders in SAP, and track orders and shipments.
  • Direct consumers to repair and service resources, including Fender Distribution Center, when needed.
  • Connect customers with dealers, Fender DC, and the QI department to resolve service and product disputes.
  • Maintain records of customer issues, resolutions, and related follow-up information in a database.
  • Support the online store by handling customer communications, return/exchange workflows, and replacement orders.
  • Maintain the online store system and perform account adjustments.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, QI, and E-Commerce on repair and consumer royalty program initiatives.

Requirements

  • University degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in musical instruments retail sales and/or customer service.
  • Native-level Japanese and advanced-level English proficiency required.
  • Direct hands-on experience with Fender products through work, school, or musical performance background.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of Fender product lines.
  • Previous phone-based customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM and chat platforms in a customer service environment preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
