Description

  • Collaborate with Data Science, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to build robust ETL pipelines.
  • Support the Product Support team by enabling user-facing features through reliable data workflows.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, observability tooling, and data quality initiatives.
  • Help build a scalable internal framework for prompt engineering pipelines and other AI workflows.
  • Enforce engineering best practices across the AI/ML organization, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Work closely with ML, analytics, and product teams to keep data and tooling scalable and reliable.
  • Contribute to infrastructure that helps machine learning engineers develop, deploy, and iterate on AI-powered features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or related roles focused on data infrastructure.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Experience with software development practices such as version control, CI/CD, or dbt testing strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Bonus points for Typescript or similar experience.
  • Comfort working with version control, CI/CD systems, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Terraform.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and working closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs.
  • Proven track record of designing high-impact data products and pipelines in fast-paced environments.
  • Prior experience in or adjacent to insurance, fintech, or risk modeling domains is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to MLOps or experience supporting AI/ML-driven products is preferred.
  • Contributions to open-source data tools or involvement in the data community are a plus.

Benefits

  • $160,000 - $210,000 annual salary.
