Description

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to build relationships and pipeline with end-user customers and partners.
  • Identify and close mid-term pipeline opportunities and deliver won business against targets.
  • Build business plans and marketing activity plans with UKI leadership and regional channel partners to meet revenue targets.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations between Extreme Networks and partners when needed.
  • Support partner sales planning and sales activities for opportunity management.
  • Communicate Extreme's service model to support a clean after-sales process and long-term customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Develop new customer acquisition opportunities, including cold calling, in a greenfield territory.
  • Maintain and expand long-term accounts across a large commercial enterprise territory.
  • Work independently with limited local support infrastructure while managing time, priorities, and territory coverage.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of sales experience in network infrastructure or a related area preferred.
  • Successful apprenticeship or university degree in an economic, business-related, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing a Commercial Enterprise Sector region and customer relationships with CXO and IT decision makers.
  • Evidence of managing a large territory region.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistent sales performance against plan and forecast.
  • Experience developing new customer acquisition, including cold calling, in greenfield territory.
  • Ability to speak intelligently about cloud SaaS, data networking, SDN, virtualization, security, orchestration, AI-driven networking, and server/storage considerations.
  • Exceptional influencing and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to produce high-quality results independently.
  • Experience establishing or operating a remote sales site in a home office mode is desired.
  • Experience with solution selling, outcome-based selling, and the MEDDPICC sales process is preferred.
