Description

  • Partner with Product and Sales to gather, analyze, and synthesize customer and field insights on AI-related learnings and best practices.
  • Build trusted relationships with security practitioners, SOC leaders, and customers to inform product strategy and marketing.
  • Turn customer deployments and partner feedback into approved stories, credible evidence, and industry use cases.
  • Develop and continuously refine ExtraHop’s point of view on the future of AI-powered security operations.
  • Define the narrative for why network context is foundational to the agentic SOC.
  • Identify gaps in industry thinking and introduce new perspectives grounded in customer outcomes and practitioner realities.
  • Equip Sales teams with narratives, evidence, and technical context to support selling to sophisticated security buyers.
  • Build and maintain core marketing assets, including slide decks, solution briefs, demos, discovery guides, webinars, web pages, blogs, and related collateral.
  • Maintain a high standard for customer trust and responsible marketing in a sensitive, fast-moving category.
  • Plan and execute product and feature launches end to end.
  • Work with ecosystem partners on new integrations, co-marketing activities, and joint collateral.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, analyst relations, technical marketing, or related cybersecurity roles.
  • Experience marketing to or reporting to CISOs, Directors, Architects, or Engineers within the SOC buying committee.
  • Familiarity with the SOC tech stack, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, NDR, TIP, IAM, cloud security, vulnerability management, and ITSM.
  • Strong technical grounding to hold substantive conversations with a detection engineer.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to create concise, compelling content for executive and technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and operate effectively amid ambiguity.
  • Willingness to travel 10% within the US.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA is a plus.
  • Former practitioner-turned-marketer with hands-on threat detection, incident response, or detection engineering experience is preferred.
  • Experience working within a SOC or closely supporting SOC teams is preferred.
  • Understanding of how AI and LLMs are changing attacker tradecraft and defender workflows is preferred.
  • Comfort with scripting and using AI or agent tools to improve efficiency is preferred.
  • Familiarity with detection engineering principles, telemetry requirements, detection validation, and ATT&CK-aligned coverage measurement is preferred.

  • Salary range of $145,000 - $160,000 plus bonus and benefits.
