Description

  • Build and evolve systems that allow travel specialists to design, configure, and launch complex travel products at scale.
  • Transform destinations, itineraries, flights, hotels, and services into structured, reliable, and sellable products.
  • Ensure flexibility, accuracy, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability in product configuration.
  • Develop and improve capabilities for departures, pricing strategies, booking breakdowns, payments, refunds, and wallet flows.
  • Safeguard financial correctness across the full product lifecycle, from configuration through checkout and post-booking operations.
  • Design systems that improve revenue performance and margin optimization.
  • Build internal platforms and tools that help Product, Finance, and Operations teams work autonomously and efficiently.
  • Reduce manual intervention in calendar management, flight configuration, and payment-related processes.
  • Improve system robustness, reduce operational risk, and manage scaling complexity without increasing overhead.
  • Work closely with the team to refine problems before writing code and use data to validate assumptions and measure business impact.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and comfort working through ambiguous problems.
  • Highly effective daily use of AI for coding, debugging, designing, analyzing, and automating.
  • Product-oriented thinking with focus on why work is being built, not only how.
  • Comfort working across multiple technologies and learning new ones as needed.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, development, and integration best practices.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and message-based communication between services.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and clean architecture principles.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control best practices, including GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Strong emphasis on unit and integration testing, code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Familiarity with observability practices, including logging, monitoring, and tracing in distributed systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
  • Backend experience with PHP.
  • Frontend experience with React and React Native.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and system design is important.
  • Experience with AI tools, LLMs, and automation workflows is important.
  • Experience with data-informed decision making is important.
  • Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs with attention to performance and reliability.
