Description

  • Design, implement, and test components of the Linux runtime security agent.
  • Investigate application and operating-system interactions to improve security monitoring and protection.
  • Debug issues across software components, identify root causes, and deliver reliable solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, balancing correctness, performance, resource use, and maintainability.
  • Review code, document technical decisions, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Take increasing ownership of technical areas as product and domain knowledge grows.

Requirements

  • Established experience building, maintaining, implementing, and debugging software in existing codebases.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Understanding of operating systems and computer architecture, including processes, threads, memory management, concurrency, and software-hardware interaction.
  • Familiarity with the Linux kernel, including user space, kernel space, and operating-system services.
  • Ability to reason about component boundaries, dependencies, data flows, and design trade-offs.
  • Methodical problem-solving approach, including investigating issues, testing assumptions, and reading documentation and source code.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, including participation in code reviews.
  • Motivation to deepen expertise in systems programming and incorporate feedback.
  • Development experience with Rust, C, or C++ (preferred).
  • Experience with eBPF, Linux kernel internals, system tracing/debugging, systems or embedded software, or security tools (preferred).
