Description

  • Architect the migration of Mythic’s existing compiler flow to MLIR, including dialects, passes, and lowering strategies.
  • Build conversion paths between MLIR and Mythic’s custom low-level IR to support both compiler flows during migration.
  • Define MLIR validation infrastructure, including interpretation or execution paths for simulation and debugging.
  • Extend MLIR integration across analog accelerators and digital subsystems to enable compilation.
  • Use Torch-MLIR for PyTorch inputs and guide future integration with PyTorch 2.0 compiler technologies.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and ML developers to align hardware constraints with developer workflows.
  • Shape Mythic’s MLIR and PyTorch integration strategy and contribute to the broader ML compiler ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in compiler development or high-performance systems development.
  • Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with MLIR, including dialect design, compiler passes, or lowering pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of compiler IRs and transformations from high-level operations to hardware-aware representations.
  • Experience architecting end-to-end MLIR flows from frontend dialects to hardware-aware dialects and existing IRs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with PyTorch compiler technologies, including Torch-MLIR, TorchDynamo, and TorchInductor (preferred).
  • Knowledge of dataflow architectures, scheduling, and memory orchestration (preferred).
  • Experience with heterogeneous or specialized accelerators such as analog compute, NPUs, GPUs, or DSPs (preferred).
