Description

  • Drive pre-sales activities from opportunity identification through scoping and booking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects while advising on company solutions.
  • Communicate network offerings, advisory services, and delivery capabilities clearly and concisely.
  • Develop and present high-level technical solutions, including hardware, software, licensing, and professional services.
  • Work with Account Executives and sales teams to develop customer relationships and support the sales process.
  • Collect business and technical requirements and create end-to-end network designs.
  • Evaluate and test new technologies and integrate them with existing network tools and services.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and operationalize plans for new services.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions.
  • Collaborate with adjacent practices such as Security, Data Center, and Cloud.
  • Lead and mentor a growing team while providing strategic direction.
  • Generate hardware configurations and bills of materials (BoM).

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a pre-sales client-facing capacity for networking solutions.
  • Experience managing proposal processes, including SOW creation.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-class network solutions.
  • Ability to act as a technical subject matter expert and mentor team members.
  • Ability to research current technology solutions and products and provide updates.
  • Background in complex routing and switching solutions such as Cisco or Juniper.
  • Experience with firewalls and VPNs such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper.
  • Familiarity with load balancing and acceleration solutions such as Cisco, F5, or Netscaler.
  • Background and/or familiarity with SDN solutions.
  • Experience with SD-WAN solutions such as Cisco Viptela or CloudGenix.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
  • CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, or other non-Cisco certifications preferred.

  • Salary range of $150,000 to $215,000, commensurate with experience, technical expertise, and location.
