Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java web applications and services.
  • Build backend functionality with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs using JSON and XML.
  • Develop and maintain Angular frontends with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Participate in technical design and architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with Agile, cross-functional development teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to less-experienced developers at Senior level.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
  • Experience working with JSON and XML.
  • Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design, application architecture, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with microservices, PostgreSQL, advanced SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD, responsive web development, automated testing, React, TypeScript, or mobile development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of German is preferred.
