Description

  • Execute end-to-end onboarding for all new hires, including equipment, accounts, background checks, and documentation before day one.
  • Track HR reviews, probation periods, bi-annual performance cycles, career progression, and compensation reviews.
  • Build and maintain an HR Operations Playbook covering recurring SOPs such as leave-of-absence tracking and termination checklists.
  • Own the HRIS as the canonical source of truth and maintain accurate employee, compensation, and org chart data.
  • Conduct regular audits and validation checks to ensure HR records remain complete and accurate.
  • Manage enrollment and termination of employee benefit plans and respond to employee benefit inquiries.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to prepare scorecard and job description information, manage interview scheduling, and support offer-to-onboarding transitions.
  • Generate quarterly reports on headcount, turnover, and time off for leadership.
  • Identify friction points in the employee lifecycle and proactively propose process improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a lean HR function at a small to medium-sized organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-output environment.
  • High fluency with HRIS, performance management, and ATS tools such as Deel, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever, Leapsome, and PERK.
  • Ability to automate repetitive tasks and create custom reports from HR systems.
  • Proven ability to identify employee lifecycle friction and propose effective solutions independently.
  • Ability to translate complex policies into clear, simple language.
  • Experience handling sensitive health and disciplinary data with absolute confidentiality.
  • Functional knowledge of employment law in at least one region and ability to escalate legal risks.
  • Ability to stay effective during rapid organizational change and balance long-term projects with daily HR support.
