Description

  • Manage internal and external teams across multiple locations to deliver the project on schedule, within quality, time, and budget targets.
  • Support the Creative Director in maintaining a coherent creative vision throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work with Producers to develop product budgets and schedules across the team.
  • Partner with the VP of Product to ensure core development processes are followed consistently.
  • Mentor producers at all levels and support their growth and career development.
  • Set clear goals for the team from milestone to milestone and ensure they are understood and executed.
  • Coordinate focus testing, outsourcing, and other external parties as needed.
  • Identify project risks and help develop mitigation plans.
  • Balance production and creative needs to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in internal game development.
  • Experience building and leading teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience building AAA games.
  • Experience guiding staff across both production and creative disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and emotionally intelligent leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage complex problems calmly and effectively.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to act autonomously.
  • Ability to identify and analyze risk and provide mitigation.
  • Experience supporting or leading new IP development (preferred).
