Description

  • Set the venture's strategy, including refining the ICP, pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Lead customer development by running pilots with VPs, operations managers, and merchandise planners.
  • Convert pilot customers into paid engagements and build the go-to-market motion.
  • Partner with the product and engineering team to ship the first version of the product and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight's network and traction.
  • Recruit, lead, and retain the founding team.
  • Establish the company's cultural foundation from inception.
  • Represent the venture as CEO in a true co-creation model with FutureSight's cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency, including the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Deep operational exposure to merchandise planning, inventory management, and multi-channel retail operations.
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
  • Experience working as a founder or operator in related SMB retail, distribution, or e-commerce environments is strongly aligned with the role.
