Description

  • Design high-voltage and low-voltage power architecture, including generation, conversion, and distribution.
  • Create wiring diagrams and EWIS bundles in accordance with AS50881.
  • Perform load-flow and failure-mode analysis for aircraft electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160G sections 16-19.
  • Integrate autonomy compute racks with liquid-cooling or forced-air thermal solutions.
  • Support EMI/EMC test campaigns and lightning indirect effects analysis.
  • Work through electrical system development from clean-sheet design to flight test and certification.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
  • 10+ years of aircraft electrical power system design experience.
  • CAD experience.
  • Proven experience integrating air vehicle power conversion and generation.
  • Proven experience solving grounding and noise issues on composite airframes.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with high-voltage battery systems or hybrid-electric propulsion preferred.
  • DER or ODA UM experience for EWIS preferred.
