Description

  • Own the full revenue lifecycle from initial demo through close, renewals, expansions, and cross-sells.
  • Convert teacher-led bottom-up adoption into formal school and district-wide contracts.
  • Manage the inbound pipeline and engage directly with teachers, school administrators, and district leaders.
  • Identify and target districts where the platform already has grassroots adoption among staff.
  • Develop sales and marketing collateral to support K-12 deal conversion.
  • Partner with schools to drive product adoption and high day-to-day usage of the platform.
  • Design onboarding and support processes that can scale across a large account volume while maintaining a personal touch.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and relay user feedback to the internal product team.

Requirements

  • 2–6+ years of experience in K-12 SaaS sales or customer success.
  • Proven track record of success in K-12 education technology or related commercial roles.
  • Strong familiarity with Generative AI and how it is transforming the classroom experience.
  • Ability to work scrappily and autonomously in the ambiguity of an early-stage startup.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with teachers and district-level decision-makers.
  • Willingness to take ownership in a founding-team role with significant upside and equity.
  • Experience selling to US K-12 Directors of Curriculum or similar roles is preferred.
  • Background as an English teacher or school administrator is preferred.
  • Experience at high-growth EdTech companies such as Nearpod, Newsela, or Khanmigo is preferred.
