Description

  • Support the Client Executive and/or Client Manager with day-to-day servicing of employee benefits accounts.
  • Collect census, claims, experience, 5500, and contract data to support renewals and account servicing.
  • Prepare request for proposal materials, track carrier responses, and assemble marketing spreadsheets for review.
  • Draft open enrollment communications, wallet cards, and related materials, and coordinate open enrollment meetings and health fairs.
  • Update internal systems, client HR portals, agency management systems, and workflow logs.
  • Prepare invoices and process BORs as needed.
  • Assist with resolving client and employee issues related to billing discrepancies, claims, and other account questions.
  • Provide administrative support to new and existing client service teams.
  • Manage priorities and workflow to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Stay informed on employee benefits products, legislation, technology, and industry developments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Client Manager or Client Service Representative in a benefits consulting or brokerage firm, or comparable experience with an insurance carrier or TPA.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel.
  • General knowledge of employee benefits coverages and services.
  • Experience with agency management systems and HR portals, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Washington Life and Health License preferred, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Hourly pay range of $34.87 to $38.46 per hour.
  • Standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
