Description

  • Build and support login, sign-up, session management, safety and privacy controls, developer integrations, and family management features.
  • Design, create, deploy, and operate user flows for sign-in, sign-up, and account management.
  • Own the entire lifecycle of services and web applications, including live operations and deployment.
  • Work on distributed systems and public cloud infrastructure to support large-scale identity services.
  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream service owners, producers, and cloud, infrastructure, and embedded DevOps engineers.
  • Connect front-end user flows with backend services in efficient, reusable patterns across the Epic ecosystem.
  • Assess technical challenges, craft solutions, and implement them end to end.
  • Use modern SQL and nonrelational databases to build service solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building secure, scalable, and highly available web applications and services.
  • Experience programming back-end web services in Java or a similar language.
  • Experience programming front-end applications with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
  • Demonstrated understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working with distributed systems at scale.
  • Multiple US locations available, including Washington.
  • React experience is common at Epic Games (preferred context).

  • Washington base pay range: $162,161 to $237,835 USD.
