Description

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines into Snowflake.
  • Develop data models, schemas, transformations, and reusable engineering frameworks.
  • Integrate Salesforce, Tamarac, APIs, databases, files, SaaS platforms, custodians, and other enterprise sources.
  • Create orchestration workflows using Windmill and related technologies, including scheduling, retries, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Build secure cloud data solutions using Microsoft Azure services for storage, identity, secrets, networking, monitoring, and automation.
  • Optimize SQL, Python, Snowflake workloads, pipeline performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Implement data validation, reconciliation, testing, lineage, metadata, governance, access controls, and observability.
  • Troubleshoot production data, quality, latency, integrity, and security issues and document operational procedures.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and evaluate practical Azure and Snowflake AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with analysts, application teams, architecture, security, compliance, business stakeholders, and external partners; participate in reviews and mentor engineers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional data engineering or related software or data-platform engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production solutions with Snowflake.
  • Production experience designing, operating, monitoring, testing, and optimizing ELT/ETL pipelines.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, data modeling, query tuning, and performance optimization.
  • Strong Python skills for data processing, APIs, integrations, automation, and engineering utilities.
  • Experience with Snowflake architecture, modern orchestration technologies, and enterprise data integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data-platform integrations.
  • Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Understanding of data quality, lineage, observability, metadata, security, and role-based access control.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools required; Windmill, Salesforce, financial-services data, Snowpark, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, or governed LLM/AI services preferred.
