Description

  • Build versioned SQL transformation logic across staging, conformed, and curated warehouse layers using incremental, declarative patterns.
  • Recompute application-layer business logic, including account balances and other derived values, as tested transformations.
  • Flatten and conform key-value and dimension-set structures into standard dimensional reporting attributes.
  • Convert spreadsheet and report-level formulas into reusable, versioned curated-layer logic.
  • Implement reconciliation and data-quality checks from replication integrity through report-level parity.
  • Enable BI semantic models and reporting tools to consume approved curated objects instead of raw source tables.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD promotion, and automated regression testing within an engineered data SDLC.

Requirements

  • Hands-on data engineering experience with substantial SQL transformation work in a cloud data warehouse; Snowflake is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building dimensional or curated data models from normalized or application-native source structures.
  • Experience implementing or using reconciliation and data-quality frameworks, including variance detection and exception handling.
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD promotion from development through test/UAT to production.
  • Fluent English at B2 level for daily collaboration with distributed teams and client stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or another enterprise BI platform is preferred.
  • Experience with financial or general-ledger data modeling, including ledger entries, charts of accounts, and dimension sets, is preferred.
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services data engineering is preferred.
