Description

  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Support data lake, warehouse, and integration-layer architecture implementation.
  • Apply data quality checks, validation processes, governance practices, and security controls.
  • Develop and maintain integrations among data sources, third-party tools, APIs, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with data managers, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and query efficiency.
  • Document data architectures, pipelines, and engineering processes.
  • Use AI tools and automation to improve data engineering workflows and productivity.

Requirements

  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Working knowledge of data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language: Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • B2-level English or above.
  • Experience working with international teams or clients.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or Stitch (preferred).
  • Cloud or data engineering certifications and Spanish communication skills (preferred).
