Description

  • Develop and execute the enterprise Learning & Development strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Manage field-based and administrative support teams while balancing strategic leadership and hands-on execution.
  • Design and oversee leadership development programs for frontline leaders, managers, and HQ employees.
  • Build and optimize end-to-end learning programs, including onboarding, employee development, and compliance training.
  • Support acquisitions, organizational transformations, and change initiatives through learning strategies.
  • Drive completion of required training toward 100% within established deadlines.
  • Ensure training aligns with multi-state employment laws, regulatory requirements, and audit-readiness standards.
  • Partner with HR, Talent, Legal, Operations, and department leaders to integrate learning across the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee LMS administration, system performance, adoption, and user experience.
  • Lead compliance training initiatives, including California-specific requirements, CPR, and required certifications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Learning and Development experience at the Manager, Director, or higher level.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing both field-based and administrative teams.
  • Experience managing and developing teams of 15+ employees, including senior leaders and individual contributors.
  • Experience leading learning functions through acquisitions, transformations, and rapid expansion.
  • Experience designing and implementing employee development and training programs.
  • Knowledge of LMS platforms, digital learning tools, and adult learning principles.
  • Foundational knowledge of multi-state employment law, training compliance practices, and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to assess organizational training needs and align learning strategy with business goals.
  • Strong project management, operations, prioritization, time management, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills; advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Must reside near a listed major market in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas, or Florida and be able to travel occasionally to field locations.
  • Comfort working primarily remotely with a decentralized, multi-state team across time zones.

  • Salary range of $155,000–$165,000 USD.
