Description

  • Build, maintain, and improve core performance dashboards for Engine X metrics such as activation rates, spend volume, gross booking value, rewards utilization, spend category breakdowns, and retention.
  • Track and report on key product performance metrics on a regular cadence for stakeholders across product, finance, and leadership.
  • Investigate data anomalies, diagnose unexpected metric movements, and clearly communicate findings.
  • Write and maintain complex SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, clean, and aggregate card transaction, booking, rewards, and activation data.
  • Build and document reusable data models and reporting assets that are reliable, well-structured, and easy to maintain.
  • Support A/B tests and product experiments by setting up analytical frameworks, analyzing results, and presenting decision-ready findings.
  • Partner with senior analysts and product managers to scope analytical requests and deliver precise, complete outputs.
  • Collaborate with analytics engineering and data engineering to validate pipeline outputs and flag data quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for metrics, models, definitions, logic, known limitations, and refresh cadences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or a closely related analytical function.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, including joins, aggregations, and window functions, on large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting frameworks in HEX, Looker, Tableau, or a comparable BI tool.
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of analytical accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experiment analysis, including basic statistical reasoning.
  • Curiosity about product and business context behind the data.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, card products, or financial services analytics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dbt or experience working with analytics engineering teams is a plus.

  • Base salary range of $137,275 to $190,000 USD.
