Description

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of Engine’s GTM and business systems stack, including Salesforce, Tray.io, Outreach, Slack, ZoomInfo, AWS Connect, and related integrations.
  • Design and implement Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, AgentForce, and Experience Cloud using declarative-first, metadata-driven patterns.
  • Architect the integration layer between Salesforce and tools such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, Snowflake, Customer.io, NetSuite, and other GTM systems.
  • Define workflow reliability patterns including error handling, idempotency, retries, monitoring, and observability for high-volume orchestration.
  • Own Outreach architecture, including sequences, triggers, mappings, enrichment, and bi-directional sync with Salesforce.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on event streams, data contracts, Snowflake pipelines, and customer-facing system integrations.
  • Architect Slack as an operational control plane for GTM notifications, approvals, alerts, and workflow automation.
  • Own the systems-side design of AI initiatives, including AgentForce patterns, prompt grounding, MCP server architecture, and safe agent orchestration.
  • Manage your own backlog, prioritize work with GTM and RevOps leadership, and ship on a two-week cadence.
  • Communicate design decisions, blockers, trade-offs, and proposed solutions asynchronously and proactively.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience architecting Salesforce at scale across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Flow, Apex, LWC, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Tray.io or equivalent integration platforms such as Workato, Mulesoft, or n8n.
  • Production experience with Outreach architecture, including triggers, sequences, plugins, ZoomInfo enrichment, and Salesforce sync.
  • Strong working knowledge of Slack as a platform, including Block Kit, slash commands, event subscriptions, and Slack-native workflows.
  • Proven experience integrating GTM systems with Snowflake, Kafka, webhooks, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven architecture.
  • Ability to think in data models, event flows, contracts, reporting, auditability, and cross-system consistency.
  • Comfort owning the full integration lifecycle from requirements and API review through deployment, observability, and optimization.
  • Strong judgment on when to use clicks vs. code, declarative vs. programmatic approaches, and Tray vs. Apex vs. Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with version control, sandbox strategy, CI/CD for Salesforce, scratch orgs, and metadata deployments.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems concepts such as eventual consistency, retries, dead-letter queues, and delivery guarantees.
  • Ability to read PRDs, review code, participate in GitHub PRs, and contribute to architecture reviews.
  • Action-oriented mindset with the ability to ship quickly and iterate without waiting for perfect specs.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, MCP servers, and AgentForce.
  • Strong async communication skills, including clear written design decisions, blockers, risk flags, and business-impact framing.
  • Preferred: experience with AgentForce and Data Cloud in production.
  • Preferred: background building AI SDR, lead scoring, or account prioritization systems.
  • Preferred: experience with call intelligence or conversational AI platforms such as Attention, Gong, AWS Connect, or Twilio.
  • Preferred: prior experience bridging Business Systems and Engineering at a high-growth, venture-backed company.
  • Preferred: Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA-track.
