Description

  • Provide architectural and strategic oversight for software development projects.
  • Define the architectural vision and evaluate alternative design approaches.
  • Develop models, component specifications, and interface documentation for scalable software architecture.
  • Collaborate with product developers, product managers, and customer application experts to ensure feature integration and system scalability.
  • Lead integration efforts across software components developed by different teams.
  • Provide expert technical advice and consultation across departments.
  • Direct research and planning initiatives that improve innovation, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems while determining architectural objectives and methodologies.
  • Validate and refine architectural decisions through prototyping, benchmarking, and performance testing.
  • Ensure architecture aligns with business goals, security best practices, compliance standards, and contractual deliverables.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
  • Extensive technical expertise in software architecture and scalable, high-performance software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software deployment methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to work independently with wide latitude for judgment.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, system integration strategies, and architectural best practices.
  • Preferred experience with cloud computing, microservices architecture, and enterprise distributed systems.
  • Preferred experience designing or integrating AI agents and agentic workflows using modern LLM frameworks and orchestration platforms.
  • Preferred experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Preferred proficiency in software modeling techniques, component-based architecture, and API design.
  • Preferred experience implementing or integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) solutions.
  • Preferred deep understanding of cybersecurity, database management, and large-scale system integrations.
