Description

  • Design and implement robust architectural frameworks aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with business owners and RTEs to define scope, success metrics, milestones, risks, and transition-to-run.
  • Ensure traceability from strategy to capabilities and portfolio items using Jira and Jira Align.
  • Maintain a live repository of dependencies, lifecycle factors, cost drivers, regulatory exposure, and blast radius.
  • Present options, trade-offs, and early dependency or impact signals ahead of PI Planning.
  • Promote telemetry, data governance, and pragmatic AI practices where they add value.
  • Drive evidence-based decisions across product lines using data-led guidance.
  • Curate reference capabilities, information, and integration principles to standardize architecture.
  • Coach solution and software architects to align with direction and improve reuse.
  • Define and report outcome measures such as lead time, reliability, risk reduction, cost avoidance, and adoption.

Requirements

  • Mastery in system architecture with experience in capability mapping, target-state design, incremental road-mapping, and operating-model design.
  • Hands-on experience with architectural tools.
  • Experience linking strategy and capabilities to SAFe or Lean Portfolio frameworks, including themes and OKRs to epics and features.
  • Experience supporting PI Planning with architectural context.
  • Knowledge of information and data governance, including information architecture, lineage, ownership, stewardship, and privacy.
  • Experience assessing technology lifecycle, obsolescence, vendor risk, regulatory constraints, and multi-region constraints.
  • Experience evaluating cloud, platform, integration, eventing, and observability options.
  • Experience with telemetry-driven decisions and AI adoption.
  • Strong executive communication and decision-framing skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity into actionable roadmaps.
  • Nice to have: cloud architecture certifications.
  • Minimum English proficiency level of B2 (Upper Intermediate) to communicate with global teams.
