Description

  • Design, build, and maintain dynamic Looker reporting, including LookML models, explores, and dashboards.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and answer complex business questions.
  • Write clean, performant SQL and build dbt models to transform raw data into reliable reporting datasets.
  • Implement data quality checks and maintain documentation so reporting remains accurate, consistent, and trusted.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Take on data engineering work over time, including pipeline development, workflow orchestration, and data integrations across internal and external systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, BI, or analytics engineering role.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, transformation, and data modeling.
  • Working proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation.
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in a BI tool, with Looker preferred.
  • Experience with a cloud data platform, with Google Cloud Platform preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, solves problems independently, and knows when to involve subject-matter experts.
  • Confident making well-reasoned decisions and backing them up with data.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and modern data tooling to work faster and improve output quality.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery specifically.
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Airbyte.
  • Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows such as Git and pull requests.
  • Experience working with go-to-market or business systems data such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and data integration via APIs.
