Description

  • Support automation, ETL, data processing, cleansing, and data pipeline activities.
  • Design, build, and support key datasets that provide structured, timely access to business information.
  • Retrieve and analyze data using SQL, Excel, and BI/data management systems.
  • Develop queries for ad-hoc requests, projects, and ongoing reporting.
  • Monitor existing metrics and analyze data to answer business questions.
  • Collaborate with BI/reporting engineers, product owners, and data scientists to meet business requirements and data needs.
  • Work with the latest AWS cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to a growing Data Analytics team.

Requirements

  • 7-8+ years of overall experience as a Data Engineer and/or Business Intelligence Engineer.
  • 3-4+ years of experience using Python.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data, BI, Analytics, or Reporting.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL; other database engines are an advantage.
  • Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, data pipelines, warehousing, and reporting.
  • Experience with BI tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI.
  • Experience with data modelling, reporting, optimization, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud-based tools and services.
  • Highly proficient spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication skills and a motivated, collaborative team-player mindset.
  • Previous experience in the payment industry is considered an advantage.
