Description

Support automation, ETL, data processing, cleansing, and data pipeline activities.
Design, build, and support key datasets that provide structured, timely access to business information.
Retrieve and analyze data using SQL, Excel, and BI/data management systems.
Develop queries for ad-hoc requests, projects, and ongoing reporting.
Monitor existing metrics and analyze data to answer business questions.
Collaborate with BI/reporting engineers, product owners, and data scientists to meet business requirements and data needs.
Work with the latest AWS cloud technologies.
Contribute to a growing Data Analytics team.

Requirements

7-8+ years of overall experience as a Data Engineer and/or Business Intelligence Engineer.
3-4+ years of experience using Python.
3+ years of experience in Data, BI, Analytics, or Reporting.
Strong SQL knowledge and skills.
Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL; other database engines are an advantage.
Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, data pipelines, warehousing, and reporting.
Experience with BI tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI.
Experience with data modelling, reporting, optimization, and ETL processes.
Familiarity with AWS cloud-based tools and services.
Highly proficient spoken and written English.
Excellent communication skills and a motivated, collaborative team-player mindset.
Previous experience in the payment industry is considered an advantage.
