Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Airflow/MWAA, Python, AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.
  • Develop production-grade Python applications for API and SDK integrations, data processing, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Define data architecture and engineering standards.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring, reliability, and access control.
  • Manage infrastructure and CI/CD processes using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
  • Optimize cost and performance across Snowflake, AWS, and Spark environments.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of professional Data Engineering experience in production environments.
  • Advanced Python 3.x experience, including APIs/SDKs, error handling, testing, and maintainable code.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt; Snowflake experience is mandatory.
  • Advanced T-SQL skills, including query tuning.
  • Strong AWS experience with services such as S3, Lambda, EMR, and ECS.
  • Experience with Airflow and scalable data pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability tools such as Grafana and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data governance.
  • Preferred experience with Spark/PySpark, AWS Bedrock, LLMs, Glue, Athena, OpenSearch, Great Expectations, Azure DevOps, and cloud cost optimization.
