Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
  • Build and support enterprise data products for analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
  • Develop data models, data warehouses, and dimensional modeling solutions.
  • Integrate data from internal systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and third-party vendors.
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, reliability, and consistency across platforms.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data-processing performance.
  • Support cloud data platforms and modern data engineering frameworks.
  • Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams on data initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on data engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 7–9 years of total professional experience, including 4–6+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, data integration, or a related field.
  • Fluent written and verbal English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, quantitative, or related discipline preferred.
  • Experience with cloud-based data environments and AWS Glue.
  • 4–6 years of Python experience, plus PySpark and strong SQL development skills.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, data analysis, and pipeline development.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and working with cloud data platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business requirements translation skills.
  • Preferred experience with AWS, data catalogs, enterprise integration, dimensional modeling, data architecture, and query tuning.
  • Life Insurance or other regulated-industry experience, vendor/TPA collaboration, and relevant cloud or data engineering certifications are preferred.
