Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from pipeline sourcing and qualification through negotiation and closing.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to grow revenue within existing accounts and through new customer acquisition.
  • Build influential relationships and generate sales leads through partners, channels, and networking efforts.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and web demos of Emburse SaaS solutions to prospective clients.
  • Work inbound and outbound leads to build and maintain a robust pipeline of large business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales management to advance opportunities and remove obstacles.
  • Partner with Channel Partners and support partner sales development efforts through regular communication.
  • Participate in company sales and marketing events, weekly sales meetings, and market feedback discussions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the territory, competitive landscape, and customer needs in AP, expense, and finance operations.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while continuously building pipeline.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience selling financial SaaS solutions to companies with 500+ employees.
  • Preference for experience selling to companies with 1,000-5,000+ employees.
  • Proven track record of closing six-figure ARR license deals.
  • Undergraduate college degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of travel and expense and/or AP/payments management is highly preferred.
  • Experience selling to finance personas is preferred.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC and Challenger Sale is preferred.
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to use email, Zoom, SFDC, and other sales tools to improve sales efficiency.
  • Comfort professionally pushing back on customers to drive better outcomes for Emburse.
