Description

  • Deliver multi-day virtual and on-site Elastic training courses and workshops to customers.
  • Teach highly technical concepts clearly and concisely to large audiences in an engaging manner.
  • Collaborate with the Curriculum team on new course development and course release updates.
  • Work with Training Operations to improve the LMS, virtual training platform, and training processes.
  • Mentor and coach new instructors.
  • Provide customer advocacy and build strong customer relationships through training delivery.
  • Work independently with strong attention to detail in a highly distributed remote team.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support a growing organization.
  • Travel globally up to 60%, primarily within the US.

Requirements

  • Experience as a technical instructor, consultant, presales professional, or public speaker to technical audiences on enterprise infrastructure software technology.
  • Excellent presentation and customer interaction skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
  • Clear articulation and fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of education experience.
  • Deep understanding of Elastic solutions such as search and observability.
  • Elastic certifications such as Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Observability Engineer, or Elastic Certified Analyst (preferred).
  • Experience in curriculum development, open-source contributions, or community engagement such as meetups or conferences (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

  • Typical starting salary range of $113,100-$178,900 USD, or $135,900-$215,100 USD in select locations.
