Description

  • Serve as the strategic business partner to the Global Vice President of Public Sector Sales and provide support to Public Sector sales leadership.
  • Lead an operations team supporting business reviews, forecasting, annual planning, and sales cadence.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategy, resource plans, and performance metrics.
  • Scale and improve critical business processes to strengthen business performance.
  • Own pipeline and forecast management, including monthly actual-to-plan variance analysis and driver analysis.
  • Support territory carving and GTM resource planning to optimize coverage and incentive compensation across GTM roles.
  • Implement early warning systems to proactively manage churn, pipeline health, conversions, pricing, and other growth indicators.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Finance, and Marketing to identify business risks and develop short- and long-term solutions.
  • Lead strategic initiatives such as capacity planning, pipeline management, and country-specific go-to-market plans.
  • Develop and operationalize AI-driven go-to-market strategies for Public Sector.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Strategy, FP&A, Management Consulting, or a similar field in SaaS organizations with strong exposure to go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience leading a high-performing team of operations professionals supporting sales organizations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Experience balancing strategic prioritization with high-quality tactical execution in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable insights, deliverables, messages, and proposals.
  • Experience developing and implementing metrics to measure sales performance and productivity improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and communicate recommendations in executive-ready formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine, and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • Proven success leading annual planning for territories, quota, and headcount.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, Tableau, Clari, and/or Workday Adaptive.
  • Power user proficiency with the Google suite, especially Sheets and Slides.

Benefits

  • Base salary with no variable compensation component.
  • Typical starting salary range of $160,300 to $253,600 USD.
  • Typical starting salary range of $192,300 to $304,200 USD in select locations, including Seattle, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City Metro Area.
  • Eligibility to participate in Elastic's stock program.
