Description

  • Collect payments from business-to-business customers to reduce accounts receivable and bad-debt exposure.
  • Contact customers by phone and email to secure outstanding balances.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Resolve unapplied and unidentified cash payments to ensure accurate customer-account posting.
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers holding delinquent balances.
  • Process customer credit-card payments and address declined transactions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries within 24–48 hours.
  • Escalate delinquent accounts and consult management on additional collection actions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional accounts receivable and collections experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, customer service, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, senior leadership, and internal partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite applications.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
  • Experience in the SaaS or software industry (preferred).
  • Experience with foreign currencies, international subsidiaries, NetSuite, Salesforce, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred).
