Description

  • Set technical direction and own end-to-end architecture for complex generative AI and agentic systems.
  • Build hands-on in the codebase on foundation-model work, fine-tuning, advanced RAG, semantic search, and agentic workflows.
  • Design AI systems for latency, reliability, cost, scale, and governance from day one.
  • Apply MLOps practices to monitor, serve, and continuously improve production AI systems.
  • Architect and operate multi-step reasoning and multi-agent workflows that automate complex tasks reliably.
  • Partner directly with client leadership to translate business strategy into AI architecture and technical solutions.
  • Shape solutions during pre-sales and serve as the technical authority in client conversations.
  • Mentor and elevate other engineers through architecture reviews and technical guidance.
  • Set standards for evaluation, observability, and responsible AI across the practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software, AI, or ML engineering.
  • Substantial track record of AI systems delivered to production at scale.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership across engagements or teams, including ownership of architecture and technical direction.
  • Proven experience deploying GenAI and/or agentic products to production environments.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud and Vertex AI.
  • Strong command of Python and shell scripting.
  • Experience with vector databases and semantic search, including Vertex AI Vector Search, Pinecone, or pgvector.
  • Deep expertise with LLM ecosystems such as Google Gemini, GPT-class models, and open models like LLaMA.
  • Advanced prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation experience.
  • Strong data engineering and SQL knowledge.
  • Senior client-facing experience translating technical complexity into business value for executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with classic machine learning, such as neural networks, training, and tuning, is strongly preferred.
  • Foundation-model or novel-model work is a distinct plus.
