Description

  • Own and consolidate the CI/CD delivery pipeline across all delivery teams.
  • Build and manage the AWS and CloudFormation infrastructure that supports deployment.
  • Replace shared environments with ephemeral environments and solve test data seeding for multi-tenant use cases.
  • Develop the developer platform, including local setup, build speed, golden paths, and self-service workflows.
  • Turn QA-owned test automation into an engineer-used framework and partner with SDETs to evolve it.
  • Implement logging, tracing, metrics, and alerting so teams can understand production behavior without broad data access.
  • Design review gates, sandboxed execution, and internal platform capabilities to support AI-assisted development.
  • Lead and grow a small platform team while staying hands-on in the code.
  • Drive adoption of platform tooling and standards across delivery teams.
  • Build reliability standards and a feedback loop for the platform as a product.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a developer experience or platform engineering function with measurable impact.
  • Deep AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience.
  • Strong CI/CD expertise with the ability to redesign delivery systems.
  • Experience moving testing from QA-owned to engineer-owned, or driving equivalent adoption.
  • Experience working with AI-assisted development and understanding its limits.
  • Experience managing or leading a small engineering team while remaining hands-on.
  • Preferred: experience in HIPAA-regulated or other compliance-sensitive environments.
  • Preferred: experience with contract testing or service virtualization in an event-driven system.
  • Preferred: experience with Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Preferred: experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL at production scale.
