Description

  • Own the Homepage discovery experience end to end across iOS, Android, and Web.
  • Lead and grow a team of product-focused full stack engineers.
  • Set the product and technical roadmap for the discovery surface.
  • Drive execution with Product, Design, Data Science, and ML/Recommendation Platform partners.
  • Define and improve discovery quality, personalization, and consumer impact.
  • Ship LLM-generated recommendations and intent-aware discovery experiences.
  • Architect backend systems and APIs that power a fast, personalized Homepage.
  • Coach engineers, support career growth, and build an inclusive, high-performing team.
  • Balance product velocity with reliability, performance, and user experience.

Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of industry experience, including at least 2 years of management experience.
  • Experience managing engineering across backend, Android, iOS, and Web.
  • Strong product sense and ability to act as a thought partner with cross-functional peers.
  • Experience working with non-technical stakeholders and cross-team collaboration.
  • Ability to gather non-technical requirements and design scalable experience solutions.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to guide and grow an engineering team in a rapidly changing business.
  • Experience building scalable products (preferred).
