Description

  • Lead balance sheet forecasting and monthly variance analysis, including working capital, accrued liabilities, deferred revenue, and debt.
  • Own the 5+ year long-term integrated financial model and maintain assumptions, actuals, and scenario-ready outputs.
  • Manage the thirteen-week direct cash flow forecast, including weekly updates, variance explanations, and liquidity risk monitoring.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for management, ownership, board, executive, and sponsor audiences.
  • Serve as the primary FP&A liaison to Accounting on close processes, accrual methodology, and balance sheet movements.
  • Translate P&L activity and operational drivers into GAAP-compliant balance sheet and cash flow projections.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Accounting, and business leaders to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
  • Support the VP of FP&A and CFO with ad hoc analyses and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Monitor covenant compliance and provide forward-looking commentary on cash and liquidity trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or treasury.
  • Direct ownership of cash flow forecasting and balance sheet modeling.
  • Experience maintaining integrated three-statement financial models with a balance sheet and cash flow focus.
  • Experience producing thirteen-week direct cash flow forecasts.
  • Comfort working with accounting teams and interpreting GAAP financials, including accruals and working capital dynamics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong executive presentation ability.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Prior experience at a private equity firm, PE-backed company, or investment bank preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • Experience with FP&A/BI tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Power BI, or Tableau preferred.
  • Experience in a multi-location, retail, or hardware/device-oriented business preferred.

  • Base salary range of $125,000 to $135,000.
