Description

  • Lead end-to-end Cloudability implementation, optimization, and FinOps consulting engagements.
  • Conduct discovery workshops to assess cloud environments, business requirements, and FinOps maturity.
  • Design and implement billing integrations, business mappings, tagging, cost allocations, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Advise customers on cloud governance, budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and FinOps operating models.
  • Drive cost optimization through rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, commitment management, and waste reduction.
  • Lead solution architecture, troubleshooting, and integrations with CMDB, ERP, ITSM, BI, and ApptioOne platforms.
  • Develop cost models, executive reports, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor consultants, and develop reusable delivery assets and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Support presales activities, including demonstrations, RFP responses, solution design, and effort estimation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–10+ years of IT consulting, cloud, or technology financial management experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Cloudability implementation and administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of FinOps principles, Cloud Financial Management, and TBM.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud billing and cost management.
  • Experience leading customer workshops and implementation projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with IBM ApptioOne implementation or administration is preferred.
  • Technical experience with Cloudability, ApptioOne, TBM Taxonomy, cost models, cloud billing data, SQL, Excel, Power BI or Tableau, and REST APIs.
  • Preferred certifications include FinOps Certified Practitioner or Professional, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Cloudability, or ApptioOne certifications.
