Description

  • Design foundational patterns and guardrails for building, evaluating, monitoring, and deploying AI agents in production.
  • Own agent governance, including model selection, evaluation frameworks, safety guidelines, and production observability.
  • Establish infrastructure-as-code best practices for agentic systems and ensure prompts, tools, and evaluation criteria are versioned, reviewed, and tested.
  • Architect and lead production platform solutions across AWS, Kubernetes on EKS, GitOps, CI/CD, and the developer portal.
  • Mentor senior engineers in agentic patterns, LLM integration, and production prompt engineering.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, product, security, and business teams to align AI adoption with company goals.
  • Oversee large-scale distributed systems and solve performance, scalability, and stability issues.
  • Use AI-driven observability and anomaly detection to anticipate failures and automate remediation.
  • Shape the developer control plane into an AI-augmented self-service platform for scaffolding, debugging, and issue resolution.
  • Develop documentation, participate in on-call rotations, and use post-mortems to improve reliability and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and high-availability, customer-facing distributed systems.
  • Proven experience mentoring senior engineers and leading company-wide platform initiatives across multiple teams and functions.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and scaling AI-driven systems in production.
  • Track record of eliminating operational workflows through agentic AI and reducing toil.
  • Mastery of AWS, including EKS and Lambda, plus deep expertise in containerized and serverless architectures.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes at scale and ability to guide resilient implementations.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Mastery of Datadog and advanced observability; experience with AI-driven alerting and root-cause analysis is a plus.
  • Strong adherence to security, privacy, and compliance best practices for production AI systems.
  • Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or custom agentic architectures.
  • Strong coding expertise in Python and/or Go.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and translate between technical depth and business impact.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies such as Linkerd or Istio is a plus.
  • Proficiency with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD and CI/CD orchestration such as GitHub Actions or Argo Workflows is a plus.
  • Experience with MLOps or LLMOps concepts, including model versioning, evaluation frameworks, and production monitoring, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks for AI systems, including guardrails, audit logging, and data governance, is a plus.
  • Visa sponsorship or immigration support is not available for this position.
