Description

  • Design, implement, and scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Operate Cloud Run and Kubernetes workloads in production.
  • Architect and manage cloud networking, including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, routing, and service meshes.
  • Embed security best practices across infrastructure, deployments, and platform tooling.
  • Develop internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows to improve engineering delivery and reliability.
  • Own observability systems for logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
  • Improve deployment speed, incident recovery time, platform resilience, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product, application, and infrastructure teams to maintain high availability across cloud regions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Cloud Run.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
  • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
  • Strong observability experience across logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language for automation and tooling.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and secure delivery practices.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across infrastructure, platforms, and build pipelines.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused approach to enabling engineering teams.
  • Melbourne-based candidates are highly preferred for in-person collaboration.
  • Experience with developer portals, platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, multi-tenant SaaS, secure software supply chains, Linux, ERP integrations, or financial systems is preferred.
