Description

  • Drive adoption of good development and operations patterns, structures, and technologies.
  • Identify processes and tasks that can benefit from automation.
  • Monitor and improve CI/CD processes for speed, safety, and reliability.
  • Implement platform and pipeline changes in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain GitLab CI pipeline libraries.
  • Support developers with CI/CD setup and troubleshooting for their projects.
  • Provide best-practice recommendations for Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes hosting environments.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
  • Educate team members and application development teams on hosted platforms and tools.
  • Work with the Security team to remediate high-risk vulnerabilities and strengthen environment security.
  • Provide services and support for related tasks and projects across Group companies as assigned.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in AWS cloud, release pipeline management, Windows Server administration, Linux administration, certificate management, PowerShell scripting, Bash/Python scripting, configuration management, IAC (Ansible/Terraform), DNS, and networking.
  • Enterprise-level Kubernetes experience.
  • Strong Linux administration skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement with focus on observability, modern application architecture, blue-green/canary deployments, and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Ability to self-motivate, learn emerging technologies, and meet business deadlines.
  • Experience with tools such as Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, MSK, and New Relic.
  • Familiarity with database concepts (preferred).
  • Working experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably AWS (preferred).
  • Experience with Apache Kafka configuration and troubleshooting (preferred).
  • Experience with ELK configuration and troubleshooting (preferred).
  • Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go, or similar languages (preferred).
